Usui Reiki training courses

Reiki is taught to the highest standards available and we do not follow the current trend of 'fast track' methods where more than one level is taught in a weekend.  Level I, Level II and Level III all have different energies and all require time to be totally assimilated into one's system before stepping out along the path to the next level.   There is usually a minimum of three months between a student learning Level I and Level II and a minimum of one years active experience of the energy, at level II, for the master/teacher level.  All training is given with full backup from your Reiki Master for as long as you may need it.

Throughout our courses the tuition given is based on experience and not just from material that has been read or passed on verbally. Richard is an active healer in the Sheffield area and is always there for any students who may encounter problems in their chosen path.

In attuning students to the Reiki energy in our workshops at Usui levels I, II & III we use the Reiju empowerment method as used by Mikao Usui. If a traditional Western attunement is preferred then this can easily be arranged. At master/teacher level we teach the Reiju method of attunement as well as a variety of Western attunement methods.

At the Colours of the Dawn we blend both the Western and the Japanese systems into a single combined system giving full references as to the sources of the information that we are teaching. This is important as it allows our students to appreciate the simplicity and beauty of the original (pre Gakkai) Reiki system whilst taking advantage of the many useful ways in which this system has developed.

Students who have studied their previous Reiki level with us are given discounts on the full prices in recognition of the material that has already been covered. Students taking levels 2 or 3 and coming from a different Reiki School will be given the teaching which they will have missed at the earlier level.

Usui Reiki Level 1.  The class is centred around self healing and includes the history and philosophy of Reiki, self healing (practical), healing other people (practical), healing plants and animals. Within the class we include both Western and Japanese techniques.  The course lasts for two days (usually a Saturday and Sunday), includes the level I attunement, tuition, manual, CDs and certificate. Following the workshop we will give you as much backup as you require. Level 1 starts at 10:30 a.m. and finishes around 4:00 p.m.
